Studio Photos

It was my first time to do studio photos with the girls.  It was an experience but the photos turned out great.  Photos to capture Cameron at 1 and Ania at 3.

cameron won't like her hair. Lol. We also forgot Cameron's shoes in the car.  Oy amateur mistakes. Lol

Ania turns 3!

My first born turns 3, where does the time go????  Being a Halloween baby, she had a party at school on her birthday, so the day before Tom and I went to school to celebrate with her classmates.  We got a cake and I got to put faces/names together.  2-3 year olds CRACK me up!  It's like they've all been drinking and walk drunk, they say the funniest things and they're a sponge! 

The day of her birthday, we of course sang happy birthday and went trick or treating around the neighborhood.  Our neighbors are the nicest.  The lady across the street sang happy birthday to her when we visited her house. 

Aniaism's

• About 98% potty trained.  She's been wearing underwear to school.  Only pull-ups during nighttime.  I honestly don't have the energy right now to train night time.
• Copying.  She's said her first 'bad' word by copying Tom.  He was watching a football game and yelled 'damn it'.  Ania right there said the same thing.  We now really have to watch what we say! 
• She occasionally calls Tom, babe.  That's what I call him around the house and there are times she's walking around yelling out 'babe', the walks to Tom.
• She's an awesome BIG sister.  She watches out for Cameron and plays with her all the time.  Sharing is another story.  She's still learning
• She's very sensitive.
• whenever she wants water, she requests for 'agua'.
• She loves to sing! 
• Constantly asks, What's that?
• In the mornings, she greets the sun with 'good morning, sun'
• Still loves the word No
• She's starting to describe things, e.g. I love...
• She corrects her dad.

32 Years

Another birthday, another year.  I feel blessed with all the people in my life.  A lot of my coworkers wished me birthday wishes throughout the day, they took me to lunch and surprised me with a cake.  It makes working that much better being around people you like while your kids are in daycare. 

When we got home, we had enough cake so I put a candle made a wish for my new year.  Tom got me a Wok.  Oddly, I've been wanting one, so I loved it.  LOL 

Also, had dinner with some of the girls a couple days later.  Truly blessed.

KBR Kids Festival

Tom's work sponsors the Bayou City Kids festival.  We decided to check it out and it was so fun!  Definitely going to try and make this a regular visit each year.

Ania and Cameron's Birthday Party

Let the combo birthday parties begin!  Ania's been celebrating her birthday for about 2 weeks, almost 3 since Tom's is next week.  I decided to have their party at the play place and invite family friends and school friends.  Fun times by all!!

Cameron turns 1!

I have been slacking, so trying to catch up now.  It's been quite a busy couple weeks, but when is it not?

Anyway, Cameron turned 1 on October 23.  Where does the time go?  She was born a day after her cousin Christopher.  This year went by super fast!  I wonder if you have more kids, the time goes in super fast forward. 

Cameronism's

• When she doesn't want to do something or bored, she will let you know by screaming.
• She smiles at everyone
• She's a good eater.  I've lost track of what she's had because now she eats what we eat.
• She crawls EVERYWHERE and puts EVERYTHING in her mouth.  We literally have to watch her and I'm constantly chasing her or picking her up to re-route her destination.
• She wants everything Ania wants.
• Learning to drink from a straw.
• Clothes size 12-24 months.  She's a big girl :)
• She looks up to her big sister, Ania
• She's starting to pronunciate her words, Banana (nana), Dada, Mama, Ania
• starting to mimic her sister
