Trickster

She's not sleeping through the night quite yet.  Yesterday night she slept from 9-6, which must I say way amazing!  Tonight she slept until 4:30.  I just put her down at 5:30, no point in going to back to bed if my alarm clock plus Ania will wake up in 30 mins.  Happy Thursday!

3 months

Man, Talia (or Cameron) turned 3 months yesterday.  Where has the time gone?

Three month update: Talia is sleeping about 4-5 hours at a time at night, eating about 4oz of formula, sitting up with the bumbo assistance, head is getting stronger, smiling more, being loved by her older sister and fits 3-6 month onsies VERY snug.

I had an OMG moment.  Last night Talia slept from 9 - 5AM!  I woke up at 4 thinking something was wrong.  I hope this is the beginning to a beautiful thing. Lol.

I gave her a little photo shoot.  Photos to be posted in my next entry

Friday Night

Today was a bit of a schedule changer...

I worked from home due to the freezing rain this morning.  The roads were actually bad and I didn't chance it.  It was actually nice also because I have been working so much this week because I had all day workshops with groups from other locations.

Anyway, I'm at my parents this weekend because Tom has a 'boys' weekend with his friends coming into town.  So the girls and I took a ride up north earlier today.  Typical Friday night with the kids...usually, I dropped Ania off and I slept at home.  Well, come bed time, I was planning for Ania to stay in the same room with me and what does she request?  To sleep in Baying and Laking's room.  As well as Laking to put her to bed...so my dad is putting her to bed in the living room, mom is putting Talia to bed and I'm in my old room writing this blog.  I felt a bit like chop liver, but desperately appreciate the help!  I haven't had quiet in awhile and I can think or even almost fall asleep.  I gave my mom a disclaimer because Talia isn't sleeping through the night yet...

I'm probably calling it a night within 30 minutes...

My home

When I moved into our first home, I imagined it to be decorated with my style, clean and organized. I always pictured my home to look like those I see in a magazine. I used to look at my sister's house and tell myself "im not going to have that many toys for my kids"  well, fast forward and I have 2 kids. This is what my house looks like when we don't have guests...

It's blurred because im holding a baby in one hand and trying to focus on the most clutter.  A cleaning person can't help with this.

New things

This past week, I'd say I started noticing new things Ania would say.  For one, she starting to express emotion. My mom has been coming in the morning to watch Talia and when I say go say hi to baying, her response, "I'm shy.  Ania shy."  Cracks me up but at the same time I always tell her it's Baying!  She's been scared of truck noises and wants to be held.  her scholl brought that to our attention because she been doing it since Friday but yesterday was the first time I actually witnessed it.

Negociating.  When we need her to do something, we compromise and say deal.  Ania responds back with deal and she does what we need her to do.  I walked over to her playing with her sister and she was holding up a toy to Talia saying "deal? Yes. No.  Deal?  Ok."  And she took the toy away. Oh boy.

Curse words.  We've been pretty good watching our language.  Well until Ania was walking around the house last night saying damn it!   Hey at least it's not other choice words.

Here's how she pronounces some words:
Fruit bar= fruit bart
Tights= pentsies
Ballet = ballad

And she loves papaya.  My mom would feed her that everytime we go to her house.  I don't mind, it's a fibery fruit.

Sister sunday

All ready for church

Train

After two days of freezing weather, it warmed up. There's that saying, if you hate Texas weather, just wait 10 minutes.

Ania loved it and kept saying whistle everytime the train whistled. Talia loved it too.

No Camera!

Ania's face when I took a photo and she didnt want me to take it

Just the two of us

Tom and I managed to get are schedules in line and meet for lunch. I always have a good time with him.  New year,  better us!

I forgot

I forgot to put this photo of ania from Sunday

Baby weight

Ever since I was given the green light, I've been doing exercises at home here and there,  eating healthy and going back to the gym during my lunch. I have 10 more lbs to lose before I get to a comfortable weight. To me, this helps me feel good and gives me energy for the kiddos.

So I signed up for a half marathon and a sprint tri. Here's to getting back in shape

Déjà Vu

Tonight Tom fell asleep with Talia and I took a photo. Two years ago, I took the same photo. Love

Wow

It's 8:30pm and the dishes are done, bottles are washed, lunches are packed, bottles are prepared for night feeding and both babies are asleep right now.  This is crazy so I decided to have a glass of wine and watch my trash tv

Work is getting back into groove and what I love more is seeing my babies

Church and supermarket Sunday

With pregnancy laziness, sick kiddo and holding a newborn hostage now behind us, it was a first day back at church for the new year. Definitely a nice feeling

Resturday

4/365: today was a rest day and just wanted to take it easy.  We started by going to costco for the first time as a family of 4.

Followed by cleaning the floors.  I just wish Ania's vacuum really picked up dirt

A sighting of cousin "IT".  Ania constantly takes her hair tie out.

And a tackle by daddy

ABC with a cup of tea

Video of Ania practicing her ABCs. There's a few missing (a lot actually) letters but she decides she wants a cup of tea in the middle
