I love this place

I'm off today because I need to take my roll over PTO days and in taking full advantage. I dropped baby girl at daycare and came into the city. I got off my old old stop Christopher st. And walking down memory lane is such a breath of fresh air. There's so many new restaurants, you know spring is here and it just brings a lovely happiness over me

On top of that I finally get to get a haircut. My hair is so long.

But I want to share my memories from years past. Hudson street, Dublin where I met Gramza, and my all one favorite cafe. After 6+ years it still hasn't changed and it's just as busy. There were a lot of days i would eat here, walk in in my pajamas, the neighborhood joint Love it

And the new form of communication

Happy niece, happy baby

So unrelated, baby girl had her first taste of bananas and she like it! And I think he may be getting dimples.

How in the world?

I don't have photos but when I put baby girl to bed last night in one direction and this morning I go into her room and find that she's just waking up but her body was in total 180. What in the world did she do?

After a long day of work, why?

I'm sitting on the couch after putting baby girl to sleep and this is what I'm watching... Our tv is on it's last leg and here is someone trying to revive it.

Notice the red light that's blinking. Never a good sign. I guess it may be time to replace this bad boy (the tv not the handy man)

Rock and roll

This past weekend I completed my first half marathon in DC since giving birth to baby girl. I was grateful to have run with a friend because to have that cheer leader was awesome! I finished with an official time of 2:40. I'll take it as I barely trained for the race!! Now I'll just go back to running for enjoyment =)

I really wanted to take a photo of baby girl in front of the capital but it was raining on the day we were leaving...but one thing for sure is that she was so well behaved I'm excited to take more vacations. She loved the hotel and thankfully we stuck to her schedule, in bed by 9pm. The great thing about the hotel was that they gave free wine everyday at 5 and service was just amazing. We were also treated to a south African restaurant called nandos that was just special. Unfortunately we took the food to go and ate in the hotel because it was time to go to sleep.

Baby girl milestones: rolling over, picking herself up if I hold her hands, trying rice cereal, smiling, laughs when she sneezes, gets her face washed, discovering her feet

The funny thing is that when she rolls over she has this huge accomplished smile on her face

All in all this was the best weekend yet!

Some photos from DC, trying cereal for the first time, finding her feet, smiling wearing green as she is a quarter Irish. Tomorrow is her school photos! Just a few. Haha

4 months

Baby girl is now 4 months! She's had her ears pierced and she's been given the green light for rice cereal, which I haven't started yet. Hopefully soon!!

I've just been exhausted these days and silly me signed up for a race that's next weekend. This should be interesting...well good news is that I went running this morning so baby steps to say the least.

Tonight is daylight savings time. I'm not really looking forward to it but it's not like I have a choice in this matter

Finally photo time. 4 month tutu photo and cousin photo.
