Cameron @ 8 months

And she's turning 9 next week. Oy

Cameron is now 8 months and 1 week old.  I say it every month.  Where does the time go?  She’s still such a happy baby, doesn’t have too much stranger anxiety and is adding to her list of table foods.  She’s sleeping through the night because I started to dream feed her before we go to bed.  Cameron will finish 4oz. and wake up at about 5am for another bottle and want to stay awake.  At least we get to sleep straight through the night.

Milestones

-          Sitting up more without assistance.  She’s getting stronger daily

-          Grabs everything in sight and puts it in her mouth.  We have to watch this one.  The other day, Ania put her dolls shoes in Cameron’s mouth and looked like she was chewing gum.

-          Picking up puffs and feeding herself.

-          Holds her bottle, sometimes.

-          Babbling a ton

-          I have to put sunscreen anytime we go outside, Cameron turns pink…and has red hair.

-          Foods to add to the list: papaya, cherries, grapes, pears, cheerios

-          Clothes size: 6-12 months and 9 months fits her perfectly almost snug

-          Drinking 4oz of formula

The sisterly fighting is beginning.  Any time Cameron has a toy, Ania grabs it saying it’s hers and walks away.  Cameron begins crying bloody murder because her sister took her toy.  Cameron also pulls on Ania’s hair, where Ania will scream out ‘Baby, pulling hair’.  On the flip side, Cameron is lucky to have Ania as a big sister.  Anytime Cameron is crying, Ania rushes off to find a toy and gives it to her.  Or Ania will tell us what’s wrong with Cameron.  “Baby hungry.”  “Baby sleepy.”  Etc.  she’s right 75% of the time.  And they love greeting each other good morning.  We’ve started a morning ritual where the girls are in our bed in the morning.  We all say good morning and just hang out.  Great way to start my day!
