Christmas

Christmas was low key this year. Hopefully next year we'll be able to go to nyc.  Anyway, I may have the only kid that doesn't want to open christmas gifts and refuses cookies.

There are still unopened gifts under the tree.  Well, she wasnt pleased with Santa

Five

Yesterday I wad reading a counting book with Ania.  Here's how the conversation went:

Me: Ania, that is the number 2.  You are 2.  So when someone asks how old you are, you say 2 (putting two fingers up).

Ania: no 2.  No 2!!

Me: so you're not 2 years old?

Ania:  No 2!

Me:  ok, how old are you then?

Ania: (holding all 5 fingers up)  five.

Me: um.  OK

Praise the lord!

12/17 is the day we got Tom's PE test results and he passed!!! Praise the lord

All the weekends and late nights paid off!!

Mini me?

Decorating

I can't believe its already December!   We put up the tree the weekend after Thanksgiving and this year was different. Ania helped me decorate the tree. It's making me love the holidays even more thinking of the memories we're creating with the kiddos.  This year we'll decorate cookies too, I just need to pick a weekend!

After decorating, Ania stood in front of the tree and I asked her to show me her teeth

6 weeks

Talia is 6 weeks today. I can't believe how fast time is flying.  She's sleeping 3-4 hrs at a time, starting to find her hands and suck on them, moving her head when objects move and eating 3 oz of milk at a time.   We just switched her formula from enfamil to gerber gentle and she's responding so much better!!  With enfamil is was hard for her to burp and pass gas.  With gerber, she's a lot more relaxed and that makes a happy mommy. She's officially a gerber baby.

Ania narrates everything she does.  "Baby crying", "baby eating" etc. And she's starting to get excited when she sees baby. Ania also likes giving baby high fives. Lol

I'm finally getting to take her out on small field trips so cabin fever is slowly going away and my body is getting used to the night feedings so I can get through the day easier now. This will help when I have to go back to work.
